A tuna fish salad (to serve two)
Ingredients for a tuna fish salad
· 1 medium size (185g) can of tuna, drained · 1/4 large green pepper, cored, seeded and sliced · 1/4 cucumber, peeled and diced · 4 firm tomatoes, chopped · Small lettuce · Juice of 1/4 lemon · Oil and vinegar dressing (or 2 tablespoons bottled mayonnaise) · Salt · Fresh ground black pepper
Equipment
· Mixing bowl · Sharp knife
1. Put the tuna, green pepper, cucumber and tomatoes in a bowl, sprinkle with the lemon juice and stir gently to mix. 2. Fold in the oil and vinegar dressing (or mayonnaise) with salt and pepper to taste. 3. Serve on a bed of lettuce and garnish with tomato.
