Siberian Red 103 instructions

Siberian Red - Performance Tents

The step by step Siberian Red 103 instructions below will guide you through the process of pitching your new tent. These instructions can be printed and stored with your tent to provide an easy to read reference guide.

Lay out all the equipment.
Lay the tent on the ground in the desired position, roof up and floor down.
Connect the fibreglass poles together to form two long red poles and three shorter blue poles. Connect the steel pole sections together to form two poles.
Slip the two red fibreglass poles through the red "sleeves" on the roof of the tent and the three blue fibreglass poles through the blue "sleeves". The two red poles should now be crossing at the apex of the tent and the three blue poles will form the roofs for the two bedrooms and the porch.
Attach the roof panel to the top of the tent using the four hooks.
Insert the metal pin attached to one corner of the tent into the end of one red fibreglass pole. Do the same with the other red pole. Now connect the other ends of the red poles to their respective pins to form two "hoop" structures crossing at the centre. Now connect the three shorter blue poles to the pins at either end in the same way.
Make sure the tent structure is symmetrical (making sure the door is closed). Pull the tent tight and then attach to the ground using the tent pegs. Note, the red poles should be positioned using the hall groundsheet (with corners missing) as a template.(The black straps are to prevent stretching of the tent and are not an indicator of tent size).
Attach the guy ropes to the tent attachment points. Then attach the guy ropes to the ground with pegs and tighten with the adjusters.
Open and elevate the door using the two steel poles, pushing the "spikes" on the top of the steel poles through the rings at the bottom of the door. Tie guy ropes to the steel poles and attach to the ground with pegs.
Within the tent, attach the two bedrooms to the inside of the tent using the toggles (note, do not attach the middle toggle above the bedroom flysheet windows). Attach the four corners to the ground using tent pegs.
Lay out the larger groundsheet (with the corners removed) in the communal hall and attach to the ground using the toggles and tent pegs.
Layout the smaller groundsheet in the porch area and attach to the ground using the toggles and tent pegs.
The tent is now ready for your enjoyment.
